The short version

nriremit does not ask you to create an account, and the rate calculator runs in your browser. We do not currently run advertising or analytics tools on the site. If that changes, we will update this page first.

What we collect

• Amounts you type into the calculator. These are processed in your browser and are not sent to us.
• Emails you send us. If you write to hello@nriremit.com we receive your email address and message, and use them to reply and to fix errors.

Third parties that see your visit

Like most websites, loading nriremit involves other services, which can see your IP address and basic browser details when they serve you files:

• GitHub Pages hosts the site and keeps ordinary server logs.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces we use.
• jsDelivr delivers the open currency-data feed used to show the mid-market rate.

Each has its own privacy policy, which applies to their handling of that data.

Cookies and affiliate links

nriremit itself does not set cookies. Some provider links are affiliate links. When you click one, the provider or its affiliate network (such as Impact or Partnerize) may set a cookie or use a tracking link so that a sign-up can be credited to us. This happens on their site, under their policies, and is how we are paid. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings; the comparison pages will still work.

Your choices

You can use the site without giving us any personal information. To ask what we hold about you or to have an email deleted, write to hello@nriremit.com.

If this policy changes, the date above will change with it.
